Commerce Chenango Director To Leave in July

Commerce Chenango has announced that its Director of Economic Development, Jennifer Tavares, will be leaving in July to take a position with the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce in Ithaca.

Jennifer has held the position for the past 3 years. Prior to that time she spent 4 years as an Economic Development Specialist with Commerce Chenango. In mid-July she will take her post as President of the Tompkins County Chamber of Commerce, and will also lead the efforts of the Tompkins County Convention and Visitors' Bureau.

The Tompkins County Chamber has over 600 members.
