According to Entertainment Weekly, the NFL has asked Bruno Mars—who performed as part of the 2014 Super Bowl Halftime Show in New Jersey—to do the whole thing over again at this year's SB 50. Mars, who was joined by the Red Hot Chili Peppers through his performances of "Locked Out of Heaven" and "Runaway Baby," delivered the most-watched show in the event's history...that is, until Katy Perry hijacked the honor as the 2015 performer.

Considering the success of Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk," on which Mars is featured, it's no surprise the NFL is willing to place its bets on sure-thing Bruno once more...but aren't there a few other acts who are guaranteed to lure viewers all the same? How about Taylor Swift, whose 1989 World Tour—which has been lousy with celebrity cameos—has become unavoidable water cooler talk? And though Lady Gaga is always a bit of a gamble, Cheek to Cheek is proof she can cater to more conservative audiences too. Plus, with a third album on the way, Ariana Grande's name is sure to be plastered to radio again soon, and she's proven she can't make a dud.

Do you think it's Bruno who should take the stage once more, or is there another deserving pop phenom who should get a shot at the big leagues? Take our poll, and share your thoughts in the comments.
