Unofficial tallies for elections in Delaware, Chenango and Otsego Counties are in.

OTSEGO COUNTY: Dan Crowell won the County Treasurer position over Ed Keator by more than 2500 votes.

In Otsego County board races, Democrat Ed Lentz posted a narrow victory over Jamie Waters for District 5, while Republican Janet Hurley Quackenbush took District 4 over Democrat Daniel Butterman. Republican Rick Hulse Jr. has a 589 to 556 lead over John Kosmer. Republican James Powers posted a 729 to 636 victory in District 2 over Democrat Theresa Winchester. Republican Kathy Clark cruised to a win in District 3 defeating Stuart Anderson 771-425. District 7 saw Democrat Beth Rosenthal defeat William Glocker 525 to 482. In District 12 Republican Craig Gelbsman leads Amy Hornburg-Heilveil 137-132.

Democrats Andrew Stammel and Patricia Jacob are the apparent winners in the four-way Oneonta Town Board race. Stammel tallied 792 and Jacob 757 to Republican Brett Holleran's 595 and Fred Volpe's 573.

For two Town Justice positions, Bruce Smith took one of them with 832 votes and for the second slot Sean Farrell is three votes in front of Dawn Oliver, 728 to 725.

These are unofficial tallies, and absentee ballots will not be counted for eight days. All results are listed here.

 

DELAWARE COUNTY had several contested races in Tuesday's Primary.

In Bovina, Town Supervisor Tina Mole was easily reelected, besting Beatrice Sohni 213-79.

Colchester has a new Supervisor with Arthur Merrill defeating incumbant Cindy de Nofrio 363-290.

Davenport reelected Supervisor Dennis Valenti to another term.

Longtime Delhi Supervisor Peter Bracci lost to Mark Tuthill 467-404.

Tom Hynes of Roxbury was overwhelmingly elected to another term, with Nelson Delameter winning in Middletown.

In Sidney, Eugene Pigford defeated William Heath 623-524.

Delaware County Treasurer Beverly Shields was reelected unopposed.
